Goa Tourism joined the inauguration of the 56th FHRAI Annual Convention, which brought together distinguished leaders, policymakers, hospitality professionals and tourism stakeholders from across India and abroad. The gathering highlighted the growing importance of collaboration, innovation and sustainable development in strengthening India’s hospitality and tourism ecosystem.
The inauguration was graced by several eminent dignitaries, including H.E. Mrs. Vithaya Xayavong, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to India; Shri Satish Mahana, Hon’ble Speaker, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly; Shri Ravindra Jaiswal, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Stamps and Registration, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha; and Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Government of Goa.
Also present on the occasion were Shriji Huzur Dr. Lakshyarj Singh Ji Mewar of Udaipur, Patron of the 56th FHRAI Annual Convention, and Shri Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, President, FHRAI, along with several other distinguished leaders, industry representatives and stakeholders.
The convention provided an important platform for industry leaders to exchange perspectives on emerging opportunities and challenges facing the hospitality and tourism sector. Discussions centred on the need for greater cooperation between government and industry, adoption of innovation and technology, responsible tourism practices, and sustainable growth.
The gathering concluded with a strong emphasis on building collaborative strategies that can contribute to a more resilient, innovative and sustainable future for India’s hospitality and tourism industry.
