IBTM China 2019 : The 14th edition of IBTM China, part of IBTM’s worldwide portfolio of conferences, activities and trade shows, starts in Beijing on 28 August, with over 8,000 conferences (an increase of 20 percent compared to 2018) scheduled to take place at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) case between Hosted Buyers and exhibitors.
350 Exhibitors and bigger than 2018!
This year, more than 350 exhibitors are expected to participate (40% higher than in 2018). They will meet 335 host customers (an 18 per cent increase compared to 2018) for a case that involves a range of fresh projects intended to improve possibilities for delegates to connect and learn. These include the Digital Innovation Summit for Business Travel, a thorough exploration of the latest issues facing business travel managers; and an interactive and educational Technology Zone. This is in addition to over 30 new product and destination presentations taking place at the event, as well as a packed Knowledge Programme.
IBTM China 2019 will also feature fresh networking and cultural events in the exhibition hall, including a Happy Hour on the first day. Also new this year is China’s capital and MICE hotspot Beijing’s post-event Hosted Buyer tour. The day-long tour of this ancient yet contemporary town, which will take place on 30 August, will include a visit to the Forbidden City World Heritage Site, an inspection of the amazing five-star PuXuan Hotel and Spa, and Peking Opera entertainment.
Hosted buyers included BMW, Daimler, Danone, HSBC, Geely, Johnson & Johnson, Sanofi, Lenovo, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Osram and UBS at this year’s case.
