Three-Day Conclave to Showcase India’s MICE Potential Through Strategic Dialogue, Global Buyer Engagement, B2B Meetings and Innovation
The India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), the national apex body dedicated to promoting India as a preferred global destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE), is organising the 15th Convention India Conclave (CIC) 2026 from 19–21 August 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The event is being organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, jointly organised with the support of Delhi Tourism as the Host State Partner and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) as the Venue Partner.
The 15th Convention India Conclave is set to bring together the complete MICE ecosystem under one platform, including convention centres, hotels, destinations, Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), Destination Management Companies (DMCs), event management companies, corporates, industry associations, government organisations, tourism boards and leading international and domestic buyers.
Over the years, the Convention India Conclave has evolved into India’s flagship B2B platform for the MICE industry, providing an integrated platform for business networking, knowledge exchange, destination showcasing, B2B meetings and business generation.
The exhibition has also received an encouraging response, with over 100 exhibition slots already blocked, reflecting strong industry confidence and participation in the 15th Convention India Conclave. The exhibition floor is expected to bring together a diverse range of destinations, convention centres, hotels, DMCs, PCOs, event management companies, technology providers and other MICE service providers.
Curated Hosted Buyer Programme
A key highlight of CIC 2026 is its carefully curated Hosted Buyer Programme, designed to facilitate direct interaction between exhibitors and influential decision-makers from India and overseas.

The Conclave will provide a platform for Indian destinations, hotels, convention centres, DMCs, PCOs, event companies and other MICE service providers to showcase their capabilities to a highly targeted audience of domestic and international buyers.
Through its curated Hosted Buyer Programme, pre-scheduled B2B meetings, reverse marketing sessions and networking opportunities, CIC 2026 aims to create a focused business environment where exhibitors and partners can connect directly with decision-makers responsible for conferences, conventions, corporate meetings, incentive programmes and other business events.
Three-Day Programme to Offer a Comprehensive MICE Experience
The three-day 15th Convention India Conclave has been carefully curated to provide a comprehensive platform for strategic discussions, knowledge exchange, business networking, destination promotion, technology engagement and policy dialogue across the MICE sector.
- 19 August: The Conclave will commence with a Press Conference, followed by networking and registration at Bharat Mandapam. The day will also feature an ICPB Board Meeting, bringing together key industry leadership to deliberate on priorities, emerging opportunities and strategies for strengthening India’s MICE ecosystem. The opening theme keynote panel discussion, “Powering the Future of Innovation,” will explore the future of business events, innovation and India’s growing role in the global MICE landscape. The day will culminate in the Inaugural Function, bringing together senior government and industry leadership, followed by a keynote address by Dr. Senthil Gopinath, CEO, ICCA, on “Convening the Future: How Global Business Events Drive Innovation, Knowledge Exchange, and Sustainable Economic Growth.”
- 20 August: The second day will focus on knowledge, tourism and destination marketing. The exhibition will be formally opened by the Executive Director, ITPO, and Managing Director, Delhi Tourism, showcasing India’s diverse MICE and tourism offerings. A dedicated B2B Pre-Fix Appointment Programme will facilitate focused business interactions between hosted buyers, suppliers, destinations and MICE stakeholders. The day’s knowledge sessions will include “Women of Viksit Bharat,” a panel discussion highlighting the contribution and leadership of women in India’s development journey, particularly across tourism, MICE and the wider business ecosystem, moderated by Ms. Vibha Bhatia. The session “Redefining Tourism, MICE & Destination Marketing” will explore emerging tourism trends, destination positioning, innovative marketing strategies and the evolving expectations of the global MICE market.
- 21 August: The final day will focus on infrastructure, MICE promotion and policy. The B2B Reverse Marketing Meetings will provide destinations and Indian MICE stakeholders with an opportunity to engage directly with prospective buyers and explore new business opportunities. The session on “Infrastructure Opportunities,” moderated by Mr. M. Q. Sayed, will examine India’s expanding infrastructure ecosystem and the opportunities it presents for conferences, exhibitions, incentive programmes and business events. Another key session, “ICPB – Role in Promoting MICE,” moderated by Mr. Raghav Khosla, will highlight the role of the India Convention Promotion Bureau in strengthening India’s position as a preferred global MICE destination and facilitating greater international business event opportunities. The Conclave will conclude with a Valedictory Session, bringing together key takeaways, industry perspectives and the way forward for India’s MICE sector. A special CEO Meet at Summit Hall will provide an exclusive platform for senior industry leaders to deliberate on MICE Policy Reform, with discussions aimed at creating a stronger, more competitive and business-friendly ecosystem for the sector.
With a blend of strategic leadership discussions, high-level knowledge sessions, curated B2B engagements, destination marketing, policy dialogue and networking, the three-day programme is designed to create meaningful opportunities for business generation, collaboration and the long-term growth of India’s MICE industry.
