Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Receives ‘Best Stall Award’ as ITM Jaipur 2025 Concludes

Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department honoured for showcasing “All-Season” potential, Winter Carnivals, and New Connectivity.

The three-day travel and tourism exhibition – India Travel Mart (ITM) Jaipur 2025, concluded on a high note today at the BM Birla Auditorium, with Jammu & Kashmir Tourism emerging as the star attraction. The department was conferred with the prestigious ‘Best Stall Award’ for its vibrant showcase and proactive engagement with the travel trade of Rajasthan.

Being an accessible destination, the J&K pavilion was a hub of activity, drawing massive crowds with its focus on the upcoming Winter Carnival, adventure conventions, and the upcoming Jammu Marathon and much more.

Receiving the honor, Mr. Waseem Raja, JKAS, Joint Director Tourism Kashmir, reiterated that J&K is closer than ever. “With excellent flight frequency and new rail connectivity, reaching paradise is now just a matter of a few hours,” he stated. The delegation, including Mr. Atul Gupta, JKAS, CEO, Bilawar Dugan Development Authority, Ms. Savita Chouhan, JKAS, Deputy Director Publicity, Jammu, and Mr. Sheikh Enayattullah, JKAS, Deputy Director Publicity, Kashmir, actively promoted new verticals like Border Tourism and spiritual circuits (Mata Vaishno Devi & Amarnath Yatra), positioning the UT as a safe, 365-day destination.

Other Winners & Turnout In a celebration of excellence, Gujarat Tourism shared the honors with a ‘Best Literature’, while India Tourism received the ‘Best Tourist Information Award’.

Organized by ICM Group, this year’s ITM Jaipur witnessed an exceptional turnout from travel agents, MICE planners, and families from Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Jodhpur, cementing its status as Western India’s leading travel exhibition.
