From October 24 to November 6, 2022, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s top destination for leisure and entertainment, will celebrate Diwali with a variety of fun activities. Diwali at Yas Island will be a unique event with live musical performances and delicious Indian cuisine from famous chefs.

On October 29, the renowned Indian musician and two-time Oscar winner will play a stunning set at Etihad Arena with his band of vocalists and instruments. Fans will appreciate engaging performances of his well-known original songs and music that incorporate cutting-edge technology, visual effects, and coordinated dance.
At Angar, W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, chef Vineet Bhatia
From October 24 through October 29, the renowned Indian restaurant Angar at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island will offer an a la carte meal in honour of Diwali. Vineeth Bhatia is a celebrity chef, author, and restauranteur with a Michelin star. The celebrity chef is preparing lunch and dinner menus that feature traditional Indian fare with a contemporary and original touch.

In honour of Diwali, celebrity chef Ranveer Brar will share his passion for Indian flavours from October 28 through October 30. At Rangoli, the chic Indian restaurant at Yas Island Rotana, the renowned chef will host an exclusive Chef’s Table over the course of three days. Fans may also meet the chef at the Filini Garden at the Radisson Blu Yas Island as he debuts his new cookbook.

Visitors will delight in a Diwali-themed light display on the resort’s exterior, as well as Bhangra dance performances by the pool and a sumptuous Indian BBQ spread over two days on October 29 and 30. The Indian meal will feature tandoori, tika meats, and
freshly grilled naan, as well a bite-sized chaat with a variety of spices, chutneys, and fragrant sauces. Delectable Indian sweets will be served after Masala chai and other beverages with an Indian theme.
