Mr. Devesh Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of CoCo ICHIBANYA, India says, “We are ecstatic about the launch of CoCo ICHIBANYA’s second outlet at Select Citywalk. As the name suggests, Ichibanya means number one which reflects well in our menu, services and experience. With this launch, we are bringing something new to the table, that is, <authentic but comfortable> Japanese food, which is what most shoppers crave especially after a shopping spree.

As we aim to bring a bit of Japanese culture with our world-famous curries, every aspect of the outlet has been carefully designed to bring the experience of Japan, keeping in mind Indian tastes and preferences. Moreover, <the idea that anyone can enjoy authentic Japanese because it is non-sushi, non-sashimi> is quite exciting for me and the entire CoCoICHI team.

It is the perfect option for curry and spice lovers who are keen to try something different from the typical Indian and Mediterranean curries. We are also excited to see how customers will react to the customizable options we have for our curries as such a system does not yet exist at Indian restaurants.”

CoCo ICHIBANYA’s debut will provide customers with an authentic Japanese dining experience, complete with a mouthwatering choice of appetisers, curries, udon noodles, and Doria. The menu, priced at Rs 600 for two, offers a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian alternatives and is of the finest quality possible in accordance with international standards.

Stewed Crispy Chicken Curry, Seafood Curry, Cheese Croquette Curry, Chicken Katsu Curry Udon, Shrimp Doria, and Mushroom Doria are a few of the menu’s unique items. There are other toppings in the Japanese manner, such as cheese croquettes, chicken or shrimp cutlets, fried fish, and fried shrimp. Japanese sticky rice is served with all curries.

CoCo ICHIBANYA is a representation of a conventional “Yoshoku” restaurant with a refreshing European interior style, expressing a modern perspective on Japanese traditions. It is situated at My Square, the food court of Select Citywalk. Additionally, the restaurant is set up for optimal efficiency; as a result, wax replicas of the food are available to help customers choose what to purchase. Additionally, it is constructed of white tiles, which are distinctive of Yoshoku restaurants.

So get ready to unwind and experience the taste of Japan with flavourful curries the next time you visit Select City Walk.
