~Swiss Air gets ready to welcome back passengers as India & Switzerland sign an air travel bubble agreement-

Those who have been anticipating a trip to Switzerland can finally rejoice! The favored airline between the two countries, Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), will finally welcome customers from India beginning January 10, 2022, after India and Switzerland signed an air bubble agreement allowing their national carriers to fly flights between the two countries.

Beginning early next year, SWISS will offer direct flights to and from Mumbai twice a week. Wednesdays and Fridays will be the days for flights from Mumbai to Zurich, while Mondays and Wednesdays will be the days for flights from Zurich to Mumbai. More flights from Mumbai and Delhi will be added in the coming months.

It is strongly urged that passengers confirm the passenger eligibility conditions stated at the time of booking and review all applicable transit restrictions for Switzerland. www.swiss.com provides more information.

Switzerland, a favorite tourist destination among Indians, is now open to anyone who has received the COVISHIED or COVAXIN doses and has been fully vaccinated.

Adults who have been completely vaccinated are exempt from undergoing the test and must just fill out an admission form and submit their COVID certificate to Swiss authorities upon arrival. Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months are likewise excluded from testing and quarantine.
