Atif Aslam at Etihad Arena will deliver a fascinating show of his best songs on New Year’s Eve, according to Yas Island, Portfolio Managing Events, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
Yas Island Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s most popular leisure and entertainment destinations, will welcome Bollywood’s most soulful singer Atif Aslam for a New Year’s Eve spectacle in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Portfolio Managing Events (PME).
Abu Dhabi goes a step ahead with Atif Aslam
With his unique fresh vocal, his versatile talent enthralled millions of fans around the world with super-hit songs on superstars like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and others. He is also known for successfully bridging the cultural gap across countries by contributing his talent to a number of Bollywood hits. Some of his most popular songs will be performed, including ‘Woh Lamhey,’ ‘Dil Diyan Gallan,’ ‘Tu Jaane Na,’ and ‘O Saathi,’ all from the Bollywood hit ‘Baaghi 2’.
Atif Aslam, speaking about the occasion, stated, “I’m looking forward to performing on Yas Island. I’ve heard great things about this cutting-edge arena, and I can’t wait to perform there and provide some euphoria to my audience. Everyone has had a long and difficult year, and it would be wonderful to greet 2022 in Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital city.”

Everyone loves to celebrate the holiday season during the New Year, and visitors to Yas Island will find a stunning location covered with festive lights during the winter season, celebrating this particular time of year, on December 31st.
In honor of the New Year, Yas Island’s skies will erupt in a blaze of color and light with a stunning fireworks show. Guests may enjoy the holiday décor throughout Yas Island, Yas Marina, and Yas Bay, as well as take part in a jubilant New Year’s countdown to one of the region’s most renowned and festive firework displays.
About the Arena
In conformity with all current regulatory rules, strict health and safety procedures will be maintained throughout the site. Additionally, pod seating has been developed to allow families and friends to enjoy the performance comfortably while socially separating themselves from other groups in attendance.
With the pod seating system in place, Arena’s seating capacity will be lowered. As an added precaution, all guests must wear face covers except when eating or drinking in their seats, as per government regulations. Guests aged 12 to 15 must produce documentation of a negative PCR test taken no more than 96 hours prior to the start of the event.
Guests aged 16 and up must provide proof of vaccination (Green pass) and a negative PCR test valid for 96 hours when visiting Al Hosn.

The award-winning theme parks Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. WorldTM Abu Dhabi, the record-breaking CLYMBTM Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Circuit (home of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIXTM), Yas Marina, the award-winning Yas Links golf course, and Abu Dhabi’s largest mall, Yas Mall, are all located on Yas Island.
