New Delhi: In recognition to his exceptional services in the field of PR & Communication for over the last two decades, Sudhir Sobti, Chief Manager (PR & Publicity), Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), Govt. of Delhi, has been conferred the prestigious Hall of Fame award during the 11th Global Communication Conclave held recently in Bengaluru, Karnataka organised by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).
Getting inducted in the Hall of Fame is considered as the ultimate accolade for PR professionals. During his more than 20 years of service, Mr Sobti has been a resolute and articulate PR and communications professional.
The PRCI is a national-level registered body of professionals in the field of Public Relations, Communications, Advertising and allied fields. It has a membership of over 2,000, and has over 26 Chapters across India plus one in Dubai as well. Plans are afoot to launch two new chapters overseas, one each in Sri Lanka and Melbourne.
The PRCI organises a global conference every year where eminent professionals from India and overseas are invited to give talks and share their experiences. The theme of the conference this year was “Disruption”.
The organisation also recognizes individuals and organisations in recognition of the efforts and contribution of Public Relation professionals in their respective fields. The Hall of Fame is the highest honour given to the PR person.
