Discover Health & Healing in the Foothills of the Himalayas with Six Senses Vana

Six Senses Vana Marks the Launch of the Brand’s First Dedicated Wellness Retreat with a journey of self-discovery, health, and healing in the Himalayan

Vana, a well-known and beloved brand, has been added to Six Senses’ portfolio. The goal is to engage visitors in a customised wellness journey where conventional knowledge coexists with modern technology.

Six Senses Vana, which covers 21 acres and is named for the sal forest it seeks sanctuary in, aspires to maintain and nurture while offering a place for people to learn and grow. A full daily activity plan individualised assistance and practises from Ayurveda, Yoga, Tibetan Medicine, and Natural Healing Therapies are combined.

The retreat is completed with nourishing cuisine, including an Ayurvedic speciality restaurant, treatments including acupuncture, reflexology, and natural alignment, and a caring staff. Unlike anyplace else, the magic is in how these components are combined to best serve visitors, based on their present mental and physical condition and specific travel objectives.

“From the moment you arrive, when your forehead is dotted with crimson, and you don your loose-fitting kurta pyjamas, to the moment you leave, and your wrist is tied with a red-string blessing, this soothing space serves as a leveller, where you can come as you are and connect to each other and nature without hindrance,” says General Manager Jaspreet Singh.

The Foundation

There isn’t a single overarching goal, and retreats will differ based on how long visitors stay, how in-depth they want to go, and how much freedom or help they feel they need. Every stay includes accommodations with a full board, individualised dietary plans, daily retreat activities, health assessments and screenings, and clothes.

Elevating the Experience

With optional extras like Subtle Energies treatments, acupuncture, reflexology, realignment, or a luxurious mani-pedi, guests may increase the impact.

Adding Intentions

The itinerary can also be customised by selecting a programme based on a particular wellness aim, with tests and specialised advice from the experts:

• Sleep: Monitoring sleep patterns and assisting visitors with a reset through therapies and treatments including yoga nidra, holistic massages, slumber-inducing beverages, and more.

• Detox: Using a well-planned diet, Ayurvedic remedies, and therapies to sluggish the fight-or-flight reaction,

energy levels will restore after the digital detox, providing greater clarity.

• Weight management: Through exercise, energising body treatments, meditation, biohacking, and a customised eating plan, visitors may gradually lose or gain weight with the aid of this attitude reset.

• Yoga: Private sessions, guided meditation, and instruction from a special team of instructors are available for beginners and advanced practitioners in the homeland of mantras.

• Ayurveda: To correct dosha imbalances in the body, physicians and therapists administer treatments.

• Tibet’s Six Senses of Medicine Few places in the globe, including Vana, formally provide Sowa Rigpa in its full manifestation.

At Six Senses Vana, visitors will experience a high-tech high-touch retreat adventure that will ease common ailments like back pain and inflammation and jumpstart their recuperation.

To ease the discomfort of the lengthy flight, compression treatment, warming back belts, and massage percussion devices will be provided when you arrive. When combined with the doctor’s advice, the wellness examination, which examines 40 biomarkers, brings science to age-old knowledge.

Additionally, visitors may indulge in multi-sensory therapies while floating in the warm Watsu pool or meditating in Raag therapy, which uses hypnotic, meditative flute sounds to elicit happy feelings.

What changes is the brand’s aim to broaden and reinforce its present offering, add trademark experiences that have been tried and proven with success throughout the globe, and enhance it?

In addition to the activities mentioned above, visitors may use their imagination at the Alchemy Bar to create customised spa items based on their dosha type. For the first time, Grow With Six Senses will include activities geared for kids aged six and above in order to help them learn and grow.

This programme, which will be introduced later in 2023, will offer educational possibilities that aid youngsters in navigating and understanding their natural environment through art, music, dance, narrative, and newly constructed interactive spaces.
