Vietnam’s Largest Island Marks the Arrival of Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort

The first Marriott International property to open on the north of the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc is the Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort.

Sheraton, the most internationally recognised brand of Marriott International, drew inspiration from the premium brand’s history as a centre of the community to design modern spaces with social features that encourage extended stays for both business and pleasure.

The leading hospitality and leisure chain in Vietnam, Vinpearl, and Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach have a strategic partnership to renovate and expand 2,200 rooms across six hotels in Vietnam.

Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is situated on a four-kilometre stretch of pristine beach on the west coast of Phu Quoc, the biggest island in Vietnam. This resort combines traditional grandeur with modern simplicity to create a lovely ambience.

The resort, which was formerly known as the Vinpearl Resort & Golf Phu Quoc, will have 459 roomy suites, villas, and rooms in addition to several dining options, a variety of meeting spaces, three pools that overlook the azure sea, a spa, a fitness centre, and a kids’ club.

The resort offers close proximity to well-known landmarks, including Vietnam’s largest theme park VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari, Corona Casino, Grand World Phu Quoc entertainment complex, and an 18-hole golf course. It is situated in the well-liked Ganh Dau neighbourhood on one of Pearl Island’s most picturesque beaches.

Villas, suites, and rooms

The 42 square metre Deluxe Rooms include private balconies and provide views of the dazzling ocean at night or the resort’s beautiful tropical garden in the morning. They are big enough for a family of three.

To promote a feeling of peace, the décor uses gentle hues and organic textures surrounded by outside scenery. One-bedroom suites are 80 square metres and come with a separate living area and two balconies for the ideal tranquil moments with the breeze and birdsong.

The lavishly furnished two- to four-bedroom villas at the resort are each 190 to 360 square metres in size, including a private pool, a kitchen that is completely furnished, and a sitting area with views of the garden or the ocean.

Elevated island dining

The swim-up Pool Bar, which is tucked away at the water’s edge, compliments the acanthus mosaic of the sweet-water pool with its glass dome and classical columns to create a timeless sophisticated atmosphere.

Visitors can choose to dine in The Garden Court or the Patio Lounge for lighter fare at any time of the day for a Pan-Asian experience with a concentration on Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, and Chinese flavours.

The lounge, with its plush high-back armchairs and gentle lighting, is the perfect spot to start the day with a cup of coffee or to plan an after-dinner social gathering where you may sample a fine variety of wines while listening to live music.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and supper, Prime Bar & Grill is a buffet restaurant with outdoor seating that overlooks the beach. It offers everything from fresh local seafood to quality steaks and a variety of Southeast Asian flavours in a simple, modern environment with ocean views.

Uplifting occasions

Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort can accommodate events with up to 3,000 attendees thanks to Vinpearl’s world-class Convention Centre, which is only five minutes away from the resort. The resort also has a lush outdoor area for team-building activities for up to 500 people. Companies have many opportunities to enhance their function and unleash the creativity of their staff with Sheraton’s distinctive design and service, from open-air client meetings and cocktail receptions on a large lawn to private BBQ dinners.
