Roadshow in Delhi: “Vietnam – A Charming destination for Indian tourists”

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ew Delhi:  Embassy of the S.R. of Vietnam, in association with OM Tourism, organized the Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in New Delhi, under the theme “Vietnam – A Charming destination for Indian tourists”.  The new Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Nepal & Bhutan, HE Pham Sanh Chau affirmed, after nearly 30 years of renovation, from a country heavily damaged by the war, Vietnam has become one of the most dynamic economies in the region. “Vietnam is home of 8 UNESCO world heritages, well –preserved historic relics and beautiful beaches. Indian travelers can find the affluence of Indian culture in Vietnam through Hindu temples in Ho Chi Minh city or at the My Son sanctuary as well as many Indian restaurants. Vietnam has all kinds of services to satisfy the need for foreign tourists, whether for holidays, shopping, leisure, food exploration, wedding, honeymoon or for business and conference.” The number of Indian tourists to Vietnam was 110,000 in 2017 but it is estimated to increase in the coming years, thanks to the various promotional activities to be organized by Vietnam and India. He invited Indians and especially Delhi tour operators and travel agents to take advantage of geographical proximity between India and Vietnam to promote tourism and expand their tourist business with Vietnam.
The event continued with a product presentation by the partners: Victoria Tour, Hello Asia Travel, Hello Vietnam, Go Indo China Tours, Melia Hotels International Orchid Global.
The event witnessed an active participation from several trade partners, travel consultants, major tour operators, and media. During the roadshow, the delegation from Vietnam interacted with the local travel agents.
