New Delhi: CLUB ONE AIR (COA), one of India’s leading Business Aviation Companies and the leader in the luxury charter services has designated Rajan Mehra as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from his current designation of Chief Operating Officer (COO). He is promoted as CEO of the company within five months after joining Club One Air as COO. Prior joining COA Mr. Rajan was the MD, Indian Subcontinent of Universal Weather and Aviation Company, a US based leader in the business aviation sector.
In his new role as CEO, Mr. Rajan brings a wealth of rich experience, knowledge and expertise in almost all facets of Business Aviation. Mr. Rajan has been India Head of some of the world’s leading airlines. He played a key role in the launch and business set up of Qatar Airways, Finnair and Asiana Airlines in India. While heading these airlines he established them as formidable products in the Indian skies.
His multi- faceted skills and his role in these launches earned him “The most versatile Aviation Professional of the decade” award from the honourable Minister of Tourism, Shri Sultan Ahmed at the fifth Annual Aviation & Tourism Award ceremony in New Delhi in October 2009.
Commenting on his new responsibility, Mr. Rajan said, “This is a great honour for me, but at the same time it is a huge responsibility to be given the mandate to take this great company to the next level. I am very excited about the huge opportunities for Business Aviation in the Indian skies and strongly feel that Business Aviation will grow exponentially in India and we will be a part of that success story”.

I would like to see our aircrafts fly non-stop from India to Europe which has been the long standing requirement for our international customers”.
Mr. Rajan has been a sought Speaker at several National and International forums, seminars and conferences on Aviation issues. He has also contributed to several publications on aviation matters, and is on the “Aviation experts” panel of several TV Channels.
Mr. Rajan holds an MBA in Aviation systems & Managements from the University of Pennsylvania, USA and a degree in English Literature from Delhi University.
