On February 17, 2022, the Ministry of Tourism signed a Memorandum of Understanding with M/s Alliance Air Aviation Limited (AAAL) in New Delhi in order to enhance tourism throughout the country.
The Ministry of Tourism strives to present India as a desirable tourism destination in tourism-generating markets, whereas M/s Alliance Air Aviation Limited, with its extensive domestic network, contributes significantly to tourism marketing in India.
The MoU was formed with the goal of achieving a common goal of cooperative domestic promotion and taking into account the necessity to coordinate MoT and AAAL’s actions in the tourism markets.
The MoU was signed by Ms. Rupinder Brar, Additional Director General for the Ministry of Tourism, and Mr. Vineet Sood, Chief Executive Officer for M/s Alliance Air Aviation Limited.
Alliance Air is leading the charge in promoting the Government of India’s “Regional Connectivity Scheme” (RCS), which is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) initiative.
The Memorandum of Understanding’s goal is to develop an integrated marketing and promotional strategy as well as a coordinated campaign in collaboration with M/s AAAL.
Advertising in print and electronic media, participation in fairs and exhibitions, organizing seminars, workshops, roadshows, and India Evenings, the printing of brochures and collaterals, brochure support/joint advertising, inviting the media and travel trade to visit the country under the Hospitality Program, and so on are some of the specific elements of promotional efforts undertaken.
To profit from this MOU, the Ministry would bring together the travel tourism stakeholders.
