It’s that lovely time of year once more, when everything sparkles, the champagne flows, gifts are exchanged, and the countdown has begun. You will be happy to learn that the Christmas and New Year programme at Lily Beach Resort & Spa in the Maldives is once again jam-packed full of enjoyable and exciting activities, exquisite gala dinners, and everything wrapped up in our gorgeously adorned tropical paradise.
Our celebrations start on December 23 for our younger visitors, who may enjoy Christmas crafts and a movie; the kid-friendly events continue throughout the holiday season, making it a Christmas to remember.
The main festivities begin on December 24th with a bang with the grand entrance of Santa (even though he was here earlier to help us organise the festivities – he just likes making a grand entrance as always) as he finds time in his busy schedule to stop by at Lily Beach, and then the Christmas Eve Gala Buffet at Lily Maa where our Executive Chef Olivier invites you to savour an exquisite selection of seasonal specialities.
The culinary staff at Lily Beach will create another incredible gala dinner on New Year’s Eve, complete with an explosion of delectable delicacies and a masquerade-themed setting. After dinner, go to the yearly Bon Voyage Bonfire to burn your 2022 regrets and prepare yourself for a fresh start in 2023.
As a result, while everyone at home is occupied making plans and managing the stress that inevitably comes along with it, you can sit back, relax, and be content in the knowledge that at Lily Beach, we have taken care of everything necessary to make the perfect holiday celebration for the entire family and have a whirlwind of fun at our all-inclusive resort.
