[dropcap]S[/dropcap]himla: Keeping in view the tourist season and water scarcity in Shimla Town, the HP, Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has come forward to help the local administration to cope with the ongoing water crisis in the Town.
The HPTDC has opened a special mineral water counter outside its Restaurant “Goofa-Aashiana at the Ridge. The mineral water is being provided at reasonable rates of Rs. 15 per litre for tourists.
The Managing Director, HPTDC has informed the District Administration and Municipal Corporation, Shimla about the steps taken by HPTDC to so that tourists may not face any problem that the regarding availability of portable water while they visit the Mall/Ridge area in the town.
