Tourism Development and Preparations for Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart and Marwar Travel Mart Discussed
A delegation from the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), led by Shri Surendra Singh Shahpura, President, FHTR, met Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, and extended a cordial invitation to the inauguration of the upcoming Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) 2026 and Marwar Travel Mart (MTM) 2026.
The meeting brought together stakeholders to discuss the future of tourism in Rajasthan, focusing on strengthening the state’s tourism ecosystem, enhancing travel trade engagement, and promoting Rajasthan as a leading destination for domestic and international visitors.
The delegation also discussed the roadmap, preparations and key initiatives planned for both upcoming travel marts. The two events are expected to bring together stakeholders from across the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, creating opportunities for business networking, knowledge exchange and stronger industry partnerships.
Smt. Shuchi Tyagi, Tourism Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, was also present during the meeting. Representing FHTR were Shri Tarun Bansal, Secretary, FHTR; Shri Rajendra Singh Jodha; Shri Mahendra Singh; and Shri Khalid Khan.
The two travel marts are being hosted by the State of Rajasthan and are aimed at providing a dedicated platform for the travel trade to showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings while facilitating business opportunities between suppliers, tour operators, travel agents and other industry stakeholders.
