Jumpin Heights is the only Bungy facility to have been certified and recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India for Bungy operations in the country.

The brand is a pioneer in commercial extreme adventure in India

Jumpin Heights- the Bungy People, based in Rishikesh and now Goa, was established 11 years ago as a homegrown adventure brand and has now set a global record for India: At Rishikesh, we recently reached a milestone of 1,00,00,000 JUMPS, marking a watershed moment in the country’s adventure tourism industry!!

Jumpin Heights began in 2010 when adventure tourism in India was limited to rafting and has since pioneered a new age of global safety standards in extreme adventure in India. It is owned and operated by ex-army officers and meets Australia and New Zealand safety requirements for Bungy operations. Jumpmasters have received rigorous training from New Zealand experts. Rishikesh and Goa are the two places where Jumpin Heights now operates. The brand is accredited as having played a key role in making Rishikesh the ‘adventure capital of India’.

Before Jumpin Heights entered the world of adventure sports in India, bungy had never been done on a formal scale. The youth were reluctant to participate in Bungy and other extreme sports in the country due to a lack of trust and faith in existing players, the lack of official regulations regarding safety, and the resulting casualties. Jumpin Heights went on to formalise the rules, which are now India’s official bungy jumping safety guidelines. The brand not only changed the face of extreme adventure in India, especially bungy jumping but also popularised the sport. This is India’s first and highest Bungy jumping platform (83 meters).

Speaking on the occasion of achieving a milestone of completing 1 lakh jumps in the adventure capital of India, Mr. Rahul Nigam, Managing Director & Founder, Jumpin Heights, said,“We are thrilled to hit this record. On achieving this milestone, we congratulate India on achieving this milestone together and showing the worldthat India’s got guts. We began our operations to bring to India something that its youth could be proud of.”

“We have been consistent in our motive to serve adventure enthusiasts an exhilarating experience, with safety standards at par with the best globally. Since the inception of our operations, safety has always been our priority and continues to be even amidst the pandemic. However, we make sure there are no compromises with the thrill of the experience.”, he added.

Since its inception, the brand has earned high acclaim for its safety standards. The brand has been covered extensively in media nationally and showcased globally for its exceptional safety standards. It has been continuously striving to bring the best of adventure for travel enthusiasts and adventurers.

After their resounding success in Uttarakhand, Jumpin Heights began operations in the tourist capital of India- Goa, from 28th of August, 2019.
