Following the air bubble agreements between India and Seychelles, Air Seychelles Full services carrier resumed its commercial passenger flights from Mumbai to Seychelles on April 8. Seychelles are all set to provide trust to the white sand-dressed island country of India with good air connectivity, fewer travel restrictions and related safety protocols.
After the Maldives opened up to tourism, Seychelles becomes the second international destination. The Air Seychelles will fly on Thursdays and Sundays flights originating from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Return flights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays from the Seychelles International Airport.
Air Seychelles, currently operating from Mumbai, under the bubble agreement, plans to connect to more cities within India following several charter flights conducted over the past year to Ahmedabad, Delhi and Chennai amidst the pandemic Air Seychelles Chief Executive Officer, Remco Althuis said: “Today’s flight from Mumbai to Seychelles had approximately 80% load factor, proof that the demand for travel is definitely there. “
