Air Canada has increased its Delhi to Toronto service to double daily to satisfy increased demand, as capacity among airlines flying between the Middle East and North America remains constrained.
The ongoing Israel-Iran conflict has led to closed airspace across the Middle East, causing major disruption with airlines cancelling or delaying their services to the region and beyond.
Canada’s flag carrier is now operating twice-daily flights until the end of April to support demand among Indian travellers to visit North America. Services depart Delhi at 21:45, arriving in Toronto at 05:00 the following day. The second flight leaves Toronto at 19:55 and lands in Delhi at 20:10 the day after.
