Internationally acclaimed restaurants and UAE favorites to enter Abu Dhabi for the first time
Paradiso, Hunter & Barrel, Akiba Dori, and The Lighthouse have joined the exciting new F&B line-up at Yas Bay’s Waterfront on Yas Island, the Emirate’s famous forthcoming waterfront destination, according to Miral, Abu Dhabi’s premier curator of magnetic experiences.
The new restaurants will be placed at the Yas Bay Waterfront’s soon-to-open pier, which will feature 20 F&B brands and five leisure and entertainment attractions, all overlooking the Arabian Gulf’s magnificent waters.
Each design is expected to give Abu Dhabi and Yas Island a distinct flavor and experience.
Paradiso
Paradiso is a worldwide known Mediterranean restaurant founded in Cannes and brought to the region by Barrière Group. It is led by Nicole Rubi, the lady behind La Petite Maison and Michelin star Chef Pierre Gagnaire.
Paradiso will offer a distinctive Mediterranean ‘dolce vita’ feel to Abu Dhabi and Yas Island, following the popularity of Fouquet’s restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
Hunter and Barrel
Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group operates Hunter and Barrel, an award-winning high-end casual dining restaurant and lounge that was born in Australia. It’s known for its hunt, gather, and fire-inspired culinary principles, as well as a delectable selection of charcoal-roasted meats and veggies.
Akiba Dori
Another fantastic addition is Akiba Dori, a globally renowned Japanese street-food concept that will serve Japanese street-food classics and house Abu Dhabi’s first and only Tokyo-style Neapolitan Pizzeria. The facility, which draws inspiration from Tokyo’s neon-filled Akihabara district, has distinct styling and vivid interiors throughout, with primary elements such as an arcade, café, bar, and pizzeria, all brought together with a modern storefront design.
Diners will be able to select from a menu of reimagined Japanese cuisine, sharing-style appetizers, and a one-of-a-kind pizza experience set in a vibrant, neon-lit environment.’
The Lighthouse
Another unusual concept is The Lighthouse, a native restaurant brand with a broad offering that includes a retail gifts store, catering service, a podcast, and an event activation element at the heart of its experiential ethos.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus will feature new items specific to this location, as well as a contemporary take on Mediterranean-inspired soul food staples and pastries.
Siddharta Lounge, Bushra, Asia Asia, Zeera, The Central, Lock, Stock & Barrel, and La Carnita are among the world-class companies that will be located within the pier on Yas Bay’s Waterfront, practically completing the pier line-up with the last two units held in reserve for one-of-a-kind concepts.

Bushra is a rooftop restaurant with a unique Middle Eastern dining conceptoffering a generous sharing menu created by Greg Malouf, a multi-award-winning chef.

Lock, Stock & Barrel

La Carnita
La Carnita and its bustling outdoor terrace will serve fusion street food, art, and music all night long to keep patrons coming back. The restaurant, which is known for its delectable tacos, will also offer gluten-free and vegan alternatives, as well as rotating off-menu concoctions.
Yas Bay, positioned as Abu Dhabi’s greatest waterfront location and only a 5-minute drive from Yas Island’s attractions, will span 14 million square feet and comprise three separate areas: The Waterfront, Residences at Yas Bay, and Yas Creative Hub.
The AED 4 billion Yas Bay Waterfront is part of Miral’s wider AED 12 billion vision for Yas Bay. Yas Bay is expected to attract 15,000 future inhabitants and over 10,000 business professionals once it is completed.
