The Wildlife & Eco-Tourism Expo & Conclave 2026, organised by ICM Group, commenced at Radisson Hotel Delhi, MG Road, Sultanpur, New Delhi, bringing together tourism professionals, industry leaders and stakeholders to explore the growing potential of wildlife and eco-tourism and its role in conservation and sustainable tourism.
The one-day expo and conclave provided a dedicated platform for B2B networking, destination showcasing, industry interaction and knowledge exchange, with professionals from the travel, tourism, wildlife, hospitality and allied sectors participating in the event.
The event opened with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and welcome of dignitaries, followed by a series of keynote addresses by prominent voices from India’s tourism and wildlife sectors.
The distinguished speakers included Mr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Group, Ex-President IATO and Chairman-Tourism Committee of ICC; Mr. Ramesh Negi, IAS (Retd.), President, Integrated Mountain Initiative; Mr. Rajnish Kaistha, Senior Vice President, Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO); Mr. Rajan Sehgal, President, India Golf Tourism Association (IGTA) and EC Member of TAAI; Mr. Rajesh Arya, President, Global Association of Events and Hospitality Professionals (GAEHP); Mr. Ajay Suri, Wildlife Filmmaker, Journalist, Ramnath Goenka Awardee and former professional with The Indian Express, Star News and National Geographic; Ms. Supriya Sharma, Business Alchemist & Executive Advisor; and Mrs. Deepika Chowdhry, Director, TOFT (Travel Operators For Tigers India Wildlife Associations).
The discussions highlighted the importance of developing responsible wildlife tourism, sustainable destinations, conservation-led tourism experiences and stronger collaboration between the travel trade and the wider wildlife ecosystem.
A key highlight of the event was the official launch of the banner for the International Wildlife & Eco-Tourism Expo 2027 . The banner was unveiled by the Chief Guests and distinguished dignitaries, signalling the continuation and expansion of the platform towards creating a larger national and international forum for wildlife, eco-tourism and conservation.
The event also featured dedicated B2B networking opportunities, allowing tourism professionals and stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Gupta, Managing Director, ICM Group, emphasised the importance of creating platforms that bring the tourism industry closer to conservation and responsible development, while showcasing India’s immense potential in wildlife and nature-based tourism.
The event continued with a networking lunch, followed by further B2B networking sessions and the felicitation of special invitees and participants.
