Vietjet Expands Fleet with 10 New A321neo Aircraft to Boost Global Connectivity

Vietjet Enhances International Routes with New A321neo ACF Aircraft Additions

Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading low-cost carrier, is set to strengthen its international connectivity by adding 10 new A321neo ACF aircraft to its fleet in the final months of 2024. This expansion is aimed at meeting the rising demand on both domestic and international routes, with deliveries beginning in August 2024.

The airline was the first in the world to operate the A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) model back in 2019. The new additions will further enhance Vietjet’s capabilities, allowing it to expand its network across Asia, including new destinations in Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

In a significant move, Vietjet recently signed a $7.4 billion contract with Airbus to purchase 20 A330neo aircraft, underscoring its commitment to offering longer, safer, and more comfortable flights. Vietjet’s current fleet, which includes advanced models like the A320, A321ceo, and A330, is geared toward sustainability, with a goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

The expansion will also benefit Vietjet’s operations in India, where the airline already runs 29 weekly round-trip flights, connecting Vietnam with key Indian cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kochi. By enhancing its fleet and service offerings, Vietjet continues to facilitate cultural exchange, tourism, and economic development across the regions it serves.

With its growing modern fleet, Vietjet is dedicated to providing safe, joyful, and fulfilling flight experiences to passengers worldwide, connecting diverse cultures and continents.
