With tourism as a priority subject in its portfolio, UFTAA’s goal is to help industry stakeholders establish a deeper worldwide connection. UFTAA’s active participation in IATA’s Passenger Agency Program Global Joint Council (PAPGJC) would help to clarify important issues in the current market.

The General Assembly of the UFTAA unanimously voted to attract governments’ attention to “Vaccine Equity” in relation to a universal policy on the corridor of travel procedures. According to UFTAA, the implementation of cumbersome procedures by a few nations may cause the most urgent turnaround in travel and tourism to be delayed.

The industry has regained its prior vigour. According to UFTAA, the international collaboration that exists in the development of vaccines must also be represented in the establishment of international standards for the management of cross-border passenger traffic.
