Talking to the New President, getting his insights on Skal’s input on tourism during this pandemic and how Skal will help in tourism Mr Anurag Gupta says.

SKAL is a group of elite members from the travel and tourism industry around the world. Founded in 1934 in Paris, SKAL has 343 clubs in 102 countries with 13466 members. We in India have 14 clubs with 1100 plus members.

Pandemic has hit the Tourism Industry the worst across the globe , Bangalore is not left behind either. Doing business among friends is the motto of SKAL and would initiate this at the earliest. As we have members spread all over Karnataka, firstly we shall initiate intrastate Tourism Promotions among the skalleagues. This involves showcasing the destinations, resorts, hotels and homestays amongst members to revive and boost tourism.

As a President, I would like to take Bangalore SKAL to a greater height by increasing membership base, getting more young professionals to join and actively participate, raising funds for the club, encouraging business among members within the club and with SKAL clubs in other cities too. Will initiate to introduce Skal in other developed and fastest-growing cities and towns of Karnataka State in India. The committee has also started working on to work closely with other Tourism Associations like TAAI, TAFI, IATO, KTF and EETA based out of Bangalore to reinforce Tourism.

Mr Anurag Gupta – President, Skal Banaglore

SKAL is a trusted voice in Travel and Tourism.  We wish Mr Anurag Gupta and his new Team Congratulation and wish them on their upcoming new goals and mission to take Indian Tourism and Tourism Sector to newer places which will boost overall travel and tourism.
