Bengaluru Qahwa Event Highlights Saudi Coffee Culture and Trade Opportunities

Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) presented “Brewtopia – A Qahwa Experience” in Bengaluru, aimed at strengthening ties with travel trade partners. Held at Olive Beach, the event attracted 30 industry professionals and showcased Saudi Arabia’s rich coffee heritage.

Attendees enjoyed an immersive experience exploring the origins of coffee, tracing it back to the Arabica bean and the term “qahwa,” meaning the “wine of the bean.” A demonstration of traditional qahwa preparation highlighted its cultural significance and similarities with Indian coffee-making techniques.
