As Indians prepare for the festive holiday season by booking long-awaited vacations, Europe is calling again, and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the pioneer in global cruise travel with a 55-year history of breaking boundaries, is highlighting four itineraries to four distinct destinations that Indian guests can book and enjoy with their loved ones in 2022 and 2023.

Mediterranean: Italy, France & Spain

Discover the wonders of the Mediterranean on a 7-day roundtrip cruise on Norwegian Epic from Barcelona, Spain, between May and October 2022, visiting six ports with numerous departures. Ajaccio, on the French island of Corsica; Rome, Naples, and Florence, Italy; Cannes, France; and Palma, Spain are all on the itinerary.

After seeing Barcelona’s iconic La Rambla’s traditional tapas and open-air market stalls, travelers fly to Ajaccio, France, home to palm-lined boulevards, bayside pavement cafes, and mouth-watering cheese.

Cruisers will next have the opportunity to spend time at Naples, on the Amalfi Coast, which is known for its churches and castles, as well as the birthplace of pizza, before sailing to Rome to see the Vatican City and the art and architectural marvels of the Sistine Chapel and Trevi Fountain.

The last port of call is Palma de Mallorca, Spain, which was founded by the Romans over 2,000 years ago and is rich in history as well as great local cuisine.

Onboard Norwegian Epic, the gastronomic adventure continues with daily changing menus, 16 dining options, and no set meal times. After dinner, relax at the Wave Pool Bar before hitting the Bliss Ultra-Lounge or Spice H2O to dance the night away.

Baltic: Germany, Russia, Sweden & Finland

This 9-day roundtrip Baltic cruise on Norwegian Getaway departs Copenhagen, Denmark, with numerous departure dates between July and August 2022.

Warnemuende (Berlin), Germany; Tallinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Helsinki, Finland; and Stockholm, Sweden are among the ports visited on the voyage.

Following your exploration of Copenhagen’s canals and cobblestone squares, pay tribute to Berlin’s past at the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial, and Charlottenburg Palace.

In St. Petersburg, where travelers stay overnight, fill your day with art and history and end your night with traditional Russian ballet. Visit the eccentric city of Helsinki, Finland, before sailing into Stockholm, Sweden, to admire the Royal Palace’s sophistication and unique design of the Nordic Hotel, which features the world’s first permanent ice bar made entirely of ice!

Compare ice bars at Norwegian Getaway’s Skyy® Vodka Ice Bar – an arctic attraction for a cold evening drink – or pick up the pace at the ship’s Aqua Park, which features the fastest waterslides at sea, or the multi-level sports complex with a Zip-line and gravity-defying ropes course.
