Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation partners with 2HUB Education to engage India's travel trade

In collaboration with 2HUB Education, Visit Maldives has launched yet another innovative campaign aimed at Indian tourism trade partners in its continuous ardent effort to grow its presence in India.

2HUB Education’s innovative E-Learning platform will host an interactive session showcasing Maldives’ untapped offers to help Holiday Agents pick the best travel alternatives for their customers.

MMPRC and 2HUB will use the project to encourage Indian travel agents to learn more about the Maldives’ products in order to boost their conversions.

As a result of this training, Travel Agents, Tourism Professionals, and Destination Marketers will better understand the Maldives, helping them boost their product offers, professional portfolio, bookings, brand recognition, and total revenue for their enterprises.

Agents can participate in the programme for free and will receive a certificate after they complete it satisfactorily. Over 500 Indian travel agents will be taught over the course of three months through this programme.

For the past two years, India has been the Maldives’ top source market. With the restart of flights, increased connectivity, and an aggressive immunisation campaign, India’s arrival numbers continue to rise.

The Maldives’ hold on the Indian market and involvement with the prominent tourism trade community would be bolstered by this relationship with 2HUB Education.

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is the government agency in charge of marketing the Maldives as a tourist destination.

MMPRC’s responsibilities include all aspects of marketing and public relations, including research, surveys, master plans, campaigns, advertising, and exposure through conventional media, international public relations companies, and emerging new media.

The company has offices all around the world and engages in business based on market research. MMPRC promotes the Maldives in a number of fairs and roadshows each year (37 in 2019), as well as via targeted campaigns and other activities both abroad and at home.
