– IBTM World Barcelona First exhibitors and Hosted Buyers confirmed –
IBTM has unveiled the first plans for its flagship event, IBTM World Barcelona, which will take place in person from November 30 to December 2 in Fira, Barcelona.
IBTM World Barcelona will focus on quality one-on-one business meetings, engaging educational material, and rewarding networking opportunities to enable delegates re-connect and succeed in the next chapter in meetings and events, with the theme of ‘New Business, New Tech, New World.
The event, which will bring together some of the world’s leading international Hosted Buyers, quality suppliers, and locations, is now accepting visitor registration.
The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the European Union of Medicine in Assurance and Social Security, the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have all confirmed their attendance. Engie, Oriflame Cosmetics, Knauf, Citigroup Inc., BBVA France, and Saudi Aramco will be among the corporate purchasers in attendance.
HelmsBriscoe, HPN Global – World, and First Incentive Travel are among the agency buyers.
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Melia Hotels & Resorts, Conference Compass, Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority, Munich Convention Bureau, Latvia Tourism, and Flanders Meeting and Convention Centre are among the global suppliers and destinations that will be present.
Trends and technology, gamification and engagement, the future of event planning (including talks on sustainability, safety and security, and government support), and career and personal development will all be covered in this year’s IBTM World Knowledge program. Separate buyer-led Association and Elite Corporate Programs will be available. In due course, more information will be published.

RX (the IBTM World organizers) has collaborated with industry partners to develop “All-Secure,” a safe working standard for organizing events in a COVID-affected world, and IBTM is working closely with local authorities and the Fira Barcelona to ensure that all required safeguards are taken.
