The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Mumbai Office recently organized the Amazing Thailand Festival 2023, an event that brought together travel enthusiasts, trade partners, and locals in Mumbai to celebrate and experience Thailand’s rich culture and diverse offerings.
Inaugurated by dignitaries and officials, including Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor of International Marketing Asia & South Pacific at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and H.E. Mr Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General Mumbai, the festival showcased Thailand’s top cultural attractions and captivated visitors with its unique offerings.
From March 24 to 26, 2023, the festival was held at Jio World Drive, and it attracted over 7,000 attendees each day. Visitors were introduced to the 5 F’s of Thailand, namely Food, Film, Fashion, Fight, and Festivals.
The event’s immersive experience and diverse offerings drew massive crowds, and Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Mumbai), expressed her excitement over the festival’s success. “The overwhelming response to the Amazing Thailand Festival 2023 exceeded our expectations,” she said. “This event demonstrated the immense popularity of Thailand in India and provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Thailand’s multifaceted cultural heritage and modern attractions to a diverse audience in Mumbai. The festival also highlighted the country’s unique destinations and offerings, making it more appealing to potential visitors.”
