Dusit Thani Resort Moganshan, Zhejiang is set
to open its first phase later this year
Dusit International, one of Thailand’s largest hotel and property development companies, has signed a management agreement with Zhejiang Xinyishang Tourism Development Company Limited to manage Dusit Thani Resort Moganshan, Zhejiang, a luxury wellness-focused resort in an area of outstanding natural beauty just outside Hangzhou, one of the world’s most prosperous cities.
The property is approximately 10 minutes by car from the high-speed rail station, one hour by car from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, and 30 minutes by car from Hangzhou city centre, with 300 large villas and guest rooms overlooking Moganshan’s renowned rolling hills and tea plantations. In just two hours, you can be in Shanghai.
Guests looking to escape the city will find lots of opportunities for riding, hiking, and resting in lush green surroundings interspersed with restored nineteenth-century houses. They will also have access to a comprehensive wellness-focused program of activities and experiences that have been specifically designed to improve their overall well-being.
The project’s first phase, which will include 100 luxurious villas and guest rooms, is set to open later this year. An all-day eating restaurant, a wellness centre with an outdoor pool, and Dusit’s renowned Devarana Spa with private hot springs pools and a wide choice of individualized wellness treatments and therapies will be available.
In 2023, the complex will be expanded to include 200 guest rooms and villas, two speciality restaurants, outdoor recreation facilities, a grand ballroom, and conference facilities.

Dusit’s portfolio now includes 347 properties operating under six brands across 15 countries. In China, the company currently operates 10 hotels and has more than 20 properties in the pipeline.
