In an effort to improve flexibility and efficiency while also attracting top talent, Dubai has introduced five-year multi-entry visas for employees of foreign enterprises based in the emirate.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, affirmed the introduction on Tuesday.
The visa intends to make application procedures even easier, make it easier for overseas tourists to get around the city, and extend their stay.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in collaboration with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, has launched a new visa.
It allows multinational company employees to visit and stay in the UAE for up to 90 days, with the option of extending their stay for another 90 days.
“Dubai has started to issue 5-year Multi-Entry Visas to employees of multinational firms operating in the emirate. Our goal is to support their operations, provide corporate teams ease of access to the city and enable them to participate in events, conferences, and exhibitions. Providing a supportive environment helps businesses raise their efficiency, flexibility & speed of decision-making, which in turn enables Dubai to reinforce its status as the world’s best city to live and work in & provide the conditions for institutions & individuals to excel.”
