To mark the launch of the new inflight safety video, Cathay Pacific hosted a preview event at The Sky Lounge, The Upper House, on 26 July. The event was graced by Cathay Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau, along with distinguished guests including Hong Kong Tourism Board Executive Director Dane Cheng and Commissioner for Tourism Vivian Sum.

During the preview event, Cathay Pacific’s leadership team, along with representatives from the HKTB and CAD, celebrated the unveiling of the video. The event underscored the airline’s commitment to safety and its dedication to promoting Hong Kong as a vibrant and must-visit destination.

A New Era of Inflight Safety Videos

The new inflight safety video will replace the previous version, which was introduced over seven years ago. Starting from 1 August 2024, the video will be progressively rolled out across all Cathay Pacific flights.
