MICE Tourism Gaining Momentum

Witnessing the growing interest and the tangible increase in travel to South Korea, it is evident that our promotional endeavours are yielding positive results. KTO continually updates incentive programs for MICE groups, ensuring that they enjoy the finest benefits when selecting Korea as their preferred destination. One such initiative is the introduction of ‘Korea Unique Venues.'”
Exploring Korea’s Unique Venues
Korea Unique Venues are specialized spaces and facilities that offer an extraordinary experience, showcasing the unique characteristics and charm of South Korea while providing a perfect setting for hosting MICE events. KTO extends additional support for incentives and corporate events that incorporate a Korea Unique Venue into their itineraries. This support encompasses various aspects such as entrance fees, rental fees, banquets, experience programs, and more. In the current year, South Korea boasts a total of 52 Korea Unique Venues, ensuring an array of options across the country.
MICE Promotion in 2023
To further promote MICE tourism in 2023, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) India office is orchestrating an extensive MICE Roadshow in Mumbai on October 11th. This all-encompassing event, hosted at the luxurious Four Seasons in Mumbai, features a day-long Travel Mart and an enthralling Korea MICE Night during the evening.

With the ongoing efforts of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to enhance the MICE experience, the future of this burgeoning trend looks promising.
