Air India will increase its weekly frequency from Delhi to Heathrow by five, from 14 to 17, and from Mumbai, from 12 to 14.
Twelve new weekly flights to London Gatwick Airport and five more services to London Heathrow Airport have been launched by Air India, the largest airline in India and a member of Star Alliance. Air India is the only scheduled airline to provide direct flights to the second-largest airport in the UK, and it will run a thrice-weekly service to Gatwick from places including Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Goa, and Kochi.
Similar to Heathrow, Gatwick has direct access to the UK’s highway system, making it easier for travellers to go to London and South-East England by vehicle or bus. Additionally, travellers may go directly by rail 24 hours a day from the South Terminal to Central London in less than 30 minutes.
