Dubai Holding’s world’s largest and tallest observation wheel debuts at the Ain Dubai Plaza on Thursday, October 21st, for a two-day launch celebration.
The Ain Dubai Plaza’s family entertainment is free for anyone to enjoy on this historic, long-awaited event.
The ultimate party location will feature music from local and regional artists, as well as a magnificent inaugural light and drone show, as well as fireworks.
The world has been waiting for this moment, and the ultimate celebration venue will not disappoint. Dubai Holding’s Ain Dubai, the world’s largest and highest observation wheel, announced today details for its opening weekend, which will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 21st and 22nd.
The opening weekend festivities will take place in the Ain Dubai Plaza, which is quite large. On Thursday, February 21st, doors will open at 2 p.m., and guests can expect a variety of free family entertainment and activities, including 12 food trucks and more, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
DJ Dany Neville will perform a set on stage beginning at 8 p.m., which will be broadcast into cabins for visitors to ride, as well as multiple light shows throughout the evening. The ceremonial opening ceremony begins at 8.30 p.m. with a spectacular light and drone show as well as fireworks.
Them who have pre-booked a 38-minute rotation in the state-of-the-art cabins may have their cameras ready for that spectacular sunset slot, which will be accompanied by sunset beats across the Plaza to really create the scene and put guests in that long-weekend mindset.
Day two (Friday) begins at 2 p.m. with more entertainment throughout the day and evening, featuring performances by artists from Flash Entertainment and Virgin Radio Dubai’s Regional Artist Spotlight (RAS) initiative. RAS brings together the best musical talent in the region, putting them in front of the biggest regional players in the entertainment industry, to present music from rap to rock and everything in between. Several acts will perform throughout the evening at Ain Dubai, with the wheel and mesmerizing light shows serving as the perfect backdrop.
