– The Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart RDTM 2026 will be held in Jaipur from 17 to 19 September
– First-ever night polo match will be held on 18 September during the RDTM at Rajasthan Polo Club
A delegation of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), led by President Mr. Surendra Singh Shahpura, met His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh. The delegation met him to extend an invitation to the upcoming Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), scheduled to be held in Jaipur from 17 to 19 September 2026, and the first Marwar Travel Mart (MTM), scheduled to be held in Jodhpur from 20 to 22 September 2026.
The FHTR delegation comprised FHTR President, Mr. Surendra Singh Shahpura; Senior Vice President, Mr. Rajendra S. Pachar; Secretary General, Mr. Tarun Bansal; Treasurer, Mr. Rajendra Singh Jodha; Founder Member, Mr. Khalid Khan; Executive Member, Mr. Shailendra Singh and Marketing Consultant, Mr. Gagan Katyal.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh on the new initiatives being introduced at both travel marts, including responsible tourism projects. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh expressed his pleasure on being informed that the first-ever night polo match would be organised at the Rajasthan Polo Club. He was delighted to learn that tour operators, travel agents and other tourism stakeholders would be present at the match. He also said that he would participate in the match himself.
The delegation also shared details of the two travel marts, with RDTM expected to see participation from around 300 travel agents from across the country, along with over 700 properties and tour companies from Rajasthan. While, MTM is expected to bring together approximately 125 travel agents from across India and around 300 properties.
Both RDTM and MTM are being organised by FHTR with the support of the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, along with stakeholder associations including the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) and Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA).
