Travel Mail Desk: Marking four decades of Indian luxury hospitality, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has rolled out the third edition of The Leela Mosaic, a multi-city showcase designed to bring together its portfolio, people and evolving brand philosophy under one cohesive platform.
Mosaic spanning six cities Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Gurugram, the initiative connects key travel trade, corporate partners and event planners with the brand’s expanding universe of experiences. Each stop offers a closer look at The Leela’s approach to hospitality, rooted in Indian heritage while adapting to the expectations of modern luxury travellers.
Unlike a conventional trade showcase, The Leela Mosaic positions itself as an immersive engagement platform, one that blends storytelling, experiential elements and direct interactions with leadership teams across properties.
In a conversation with Travel Mail, Megha Ajgaonkar, Vice President – Sales, described the concept as a reflection of the brand itself.
“Just like a mosaic brings together different pieces to create a complete picture, this initiative brings together the uniqueness of all our hotels and our initiatives under one roof. It allows our partners to truly learn, engage and build stronger conversations with us,” she said.
Launched in 2024, the platform has evolved into a unified showcase where general managers, sales leaders and teams from across The Leela network come together, creating what Ajgaonkar describes as a “unified Leela force” across markets.
The 2026 edition has been designed to cover key source markets, with Gurugram emerging as a significant addition. The decision to host separate engagements in both Delhi and Gurugram reflects the scale and diversity of the NCR market.
According to Ajgaonkar, Gurugram continues to be a critical business and demand hub, with a strong mix of corporate, social and leisure segments. The presence of The Leela Ambience Gurugram & Residences further strengthens this positioning, offering a distinctive environment within the city’s fast-paced urban landscape.
This year’s showcase also included a preview of the upcoming The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary, a new destination that signals the brand’s continued expansion into immersive, nature-led luxury experiences.

The development reflects a broader shift in luxury travel, where guests increasingly seek meaningful, experience-driven stays that go beyond traditional hospitality formats.
A key theme emerging from the showcase is The Leela’s diversified business model. Rather than relying on a single segment, the brand continues to see demand across corporate travel, large-scale events, celebrations, and leisure stays, including the growing trend of staycations.
At properties such as The Leela Ambience Gurugram, this diversity translates into a balanced mix of business and leisure guests, supported by extensive convention spaces, residences and curated experiences.
“We’re fortunate to see demand across segments — from corporates and events to leisure and long stays. What truly defines us is our ability to create personalised experiences for every guest, depending on their needs,” Ajgaonkar added.
At its core, The Leela Mosaic remains a relationship-driven platform, focused on building deeper connections with trade partners, corporate clients, and event planners. By bringing stakeholders together in an experiential setting, the initiative aims to foster long-term collaboration and shared growth.
As The Leela enters its fifth decade, the brand is clearly positioning itself not just as a hospitality provider, but as a curator of experiences, blending legacy, expansion and innovation into a unified luxury narrative.
