‘Whole of Government’ Approach to Tourism: Developing Masterlist of Destinations
One of the most talked-about announcements was the Ministry of Tourism’s plan to develop a master list of Tourism Destinations for Development. This master list will highlight priority tourist destinations that will be developed in collaboration with multiple ministries, including the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, and the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.
