The 15th edition of The Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB)—India’s premier B2B inbound tourism event—was inaugurated today at Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur, bringing together global buyers, policymakers, and industry leaders. The three-day event, organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and FICCI, will continue with exhibitions and B2B meetings at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC). Reinforcing the policy framework, Mr. V. Highlighting the platform’s evolution, Ms. Shuchi Tyagi, Secretary—Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, said GITB has moved beyond a conventional trade event to become a strategic marketplace that directly links Rajasthan’s tourism offerings with international buyers, supported by infrastructure readiness, investment facilitation, and a strong focus on experience-driven tourism.
Underscoring the importance of industry collaboration, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Past President, FICCI; Mentor, FICCI Tourism Committee and CMD, The LaLiT Suri Hospitality, noted that GITB reflects the strength of sustained public-private partnership and continues to elevate India’s presence on the global tourism map through meaningful engagement.
