Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) Elects New Managing Committee for 2025-27 Term | Abbas Moiz Elected as New President

The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) today announced the election of its new Managing Committee for the term 2025-27, following its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM was successfully held at The Mirador Hotel, Mumbai, where members cast their votes for the upcoming leadership.

Mr. Abbas Moiz has been elected as the new President, taking the helm of the esteemed federation. He will be joined by Mr. Anil Kalsi, who assumes the role of Vice President.

Other key office bearers elected include:

  • National General Secretary: Mr. Hitank Shah
  • Treasurer: Mr. Rai Achal Krishna

The newly elected Managing Committee Members for the 2025-27 term are:

  • Mr. Jitul Mehta
  • Mr. Paulose Mathew
  • Mr. Sunil Uttam
  • Mr. Khushvinder Sarna
  • Mr. A. Bright Manohar

In a subsequent Managing Committee meeting held on the same day, Mr. Shamim Shah, Mr. Ronak Shah, Ms. Sumita Kashyap, and Mr. Shailendra Khare were co-opted in accordance with TAFI’s bye-laws. Mr. Ajay Prakash will continue to provide his invaluable guidance as the Immediate Past President.

The new leadership team is set to guide TAFI with a fresh vision and commitment, advocating for the interests of India’s vibrant travel trade community and playing a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the tourism and aviation sectors.
