5. Piramal Haveli, Shekhawati
This haveli is a tiny and lovely Rajasthani-Italian establishment located in Baggar, Shekhawati, and one of the few intimate heritage hotels in Rajasthan. The Piramal Haveli was constructed near Delhi in 1928 with a vast open garden and two pillared courtyards painted with cool aeroplane frescoes, flying angels and gods in motor cars.
6. Balsamand Lake Palace, Jodhpur
The Bal Samand Lake Palace is located a brief distance from Marwar, Mandore, and just 8 km from Jodhpur. The palace was constructed in the 17th century by Jodhpur’s Maharaja Jaswant Singh I. The huge 60-acre estate has fruit orchards, landscaped gardens, manicured lawns, 26 well-designed garden rooms with their own croquet lawn, rose garden and restaurant.
