Focus on Experiences and New Tourism Opportunities

Addressing the gathering, Smt. Shuchi Tyagi, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Rajasthan Tourism highlighted the importance of developing diverse and immersive tourism experiences across Rajasthan.
“RDTM will effectively showcase diverse tourism experiences, including cultural and experiential tourism, wildlife, wellness, adventure, rural, spiritual and heritage tourism. Through collaboration with private sector stakeholders at RDTM, special emphasis will be placed on developing high-quality and immersive tourism experiences. I am confident that this travel mart will serve as an effective platform to strengthen and give a new direction to the present-day traveller.”
RDTM to Strengthen Domestic Tourism

Smt. Rukmani Riar, IAS, Commissioner, Rajasthan Tourism, said, “Rajasthan has long been celebrated for its timeless forts and grand palaces, but our story extends far beyond the conventional circuits. Today, the state is evolving into a dynamic canvas of eco-tourism, wildlife sanctuaries, rich culinary traditions, and immersive local experiences. Platforms like the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart are vital in turning this vision into reality. By uniting industry leaders, hospitality pioneers, and government initiatives, we are not simply driving business networking—we are building high-quality, sustainable visitor journeys, diversifying regional destinations, and cementing Rajasthan’s position as a trailblazer in India’s tourism growth.”
FHTR Calls for Wider Promotion of Rajasthan
Mr. Surendra Singh Shahpura, President, FHTR, said, “FHTR is not limited to organising the travel mart; it also plays an important role in supporting the development of policy frameworks related to the tourism sector in collaboration with the Government. We work closely with the Government for the positive and sustainable development of tourism in Rajasthan. This year, through RDTM, special focus will be placed on promoting not only traditional tourist destinations but also the state’s vibrant fairs and festivals, Rajasthan’s rich polo heritage and lesser-known destinations among travellers from across the country.”
Exhibition and B2B Meetings on September 18 and 19
Following the grand inauguration at Amer Fort, the main exhibition and B2B programme will take place at the B.M. Birla Convention Centre, Jaipur, on September 18 and 19.
The exhibition will feature tourism and hospitality products from across Rajasthan, with registered buyers and sellers participating in pre-scheduled B2B meetings. Buyers will have the opportunity to explore hotels, resorts, tour operators, destinations, experiential tourism products and other services offered across the State.
The participation of around 300 travel agents and more than 700 properties and tour companies is expected to generate extensive business networking opportunities. More than 21,000 meetings are expected to take place during the mart.
With the participation of travel trade representatives, tourism businesses, hospitality establishments and other industry stakeholders, RDTM 2026 seeks to strengthen Rajasthan’s position as a destination offering diverse experiences, from heritage and culture to wildlife, wellness, adventure, rural tourism, festivals and experiential travel.
The sixth edition of RDTM builds on the event’s established B2B platform while placing greater emphasis on emerging destinations, new tourism products and wider business opportunities across Rajasthan.
