Planning a Trip to Singapore? Make sure you include these new experiences in your itinerary

Singapore has long served tourists with a variety of attractions and experiences, including gleaming skyscrapers, green surroundings, Instagrammable parks, and boulevards crammed with air-conditioned shopping.

The location is currently home to Avatar: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay (opening on October 28), and Bird Paradise at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which will open in 2023, as part of its effort to rethink the tourism experience and give travelers something fresh to look forward to.

Avatar: The Experience is an immersive walkthrough display that was inspired by one of the all-time highest-grossing movies worldwide, Avatar. The experience, which is situated at the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay, debuts to the public on October 28, 2022. Here, guests can engage with ethereal animals and plants and learn about Pandora’s fascinating civilization through its bioluminescent settings.

Mr. GB Srithar, Regional Director, India, Middle East, South Asia, and Africa, Singapore Tourism Boardsaid, “Singapore is an exciting lifestyle and events destination, offering Indian vacationers a range of interesting options, right from tours and attractions, to entertainment, shopping, and dining options. We are positive that the introduction of the new leisure experiences Avatar: The Experience and Bird Paradise, will be welcomed by Indian travelers, who represent our top source markets for tourism. With the post-pandemic resumption of international travel, the industry is seeing a strong resurgence in demand for leisure tourism, with Indian consumers looking forward to traveling again and trying out new leisure experiences.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with a baby banshee controlled by skilled puppeteer docents as part of the amazing interactives and shocking content of Avatar: The Experience, creating special photo opportunities for this event.

The first of the new wildlife parks at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Bird Paradise, will open to the public in the second quarter of 2023. It is a 17-hectare park.

Bird Paradise is a mixed-species habitat designed to inspire discovery at every turn. Visitors will be welcomed into eight spacious walk-through aviaries that represent various global biomes, including dense African rainforests, South American wetlands, Southeast Asian paddy fields, Australian dry eucalypt forests, and more.

Travelers can also take advantage of some of Singapore’s newest leisure attractions while there, like the Instagram-worthy Museum of Ice Cream, the panoramic open-air SkyHelix Sentosa, and Adventure HQ, the country’s first and largest multi-installation adventure center. Future attractions in the city include the Jewel-Jurassic Quest, a fully immersive augmented reality experience at Jewel Changi Airport’s Canopy Park, and Shiseido Forest Valley, among others.
