The travellers were thermally screened at the airport by APHO officers, who ensured that all health precautions were taken during the transit procedure.
At immigration, ten dedicated counters have been set up to expedite processing and clearance. At the same time, a dedicated section in the Arrival Reclaim Belt was made accessible for rapid Check-In Baggage processing, and XBIS machines for customs screening were made operational.
The passengers were greeted and seated in the Meet and Greet (M&G) area, which was made available as an assembly point. At the triage area, the young passengers and MCGM police were provided pre-packaged breakfast and refreshments.
State governments from Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Bihar, Haryana, Assam, and Chennai were present to meet the young students from their respective states, and the passengers were separated by state.
As an entry point into the nation, CSMIA supported the students’ safe and smooth journey by offering their full cooperation to the authorities and the government in their attempts to return Indian students to their homes.
With the promise of being a portal to kindness, CSMIA aspires to be a year-round partner in providing aid to travellers, particularly during times of need and need.
