Tenerife Added to LOT Polish Airlines’ European Network
LOT Polish Airlines is set to enhance its European network by introducing flights to Tenerife, the “Island of Eternal Spring,” from 27th November 2024. The new route, connecting Warsaw with Tenerife’s Reina Sofía Airport, will operate three times a week—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This expansion is part of LOT’s strategy to offer more diverse destinations to Indian travelers. Flights will be serviced by Boeing 737 MAX8 aircraft, with a flight duration of approximately six hours. Departures from Warsaw are scheduled at 7:50 AM, while return flights will leave Tenerife at 1:55 PM local time.
Amit Ray, Director India, DACH Markets, and Italy at LOT Polish Airlines, highlighted the significance of this new route, stating, “Tenerife is a great and unique addition for leisure passengers touring Europe.” The island’s appeal lies in its volcanic landscape, ranging from golden to black sandy beaches, and attractions like Pico del Teide, Spain’s highest mountain, and the spectacular Los Gigantes cliffs.
