Shimla: The operation of old lifts of HPTDC in Shimla town will remain closed from 19 to 22 November 2018 due to ongoing construction work of new lift adjacent to the old lifts.
Managing Director, HPTDC Ms. Kumad Singh informed that this decision has been taken keeping in view the safety and security of the general public and smooth completion of the work. She said heavy equipment has to be moved around and heavy steel chambers will be placed, which may endanger the occupants of the lift.
She requested the general public to bear with the situation and make alternative arrangements during this period.
