His extensive experience encompasses prominent roles across India, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia, positioning him as a formidable leader capable of steering Jumeirah’s ethos of exceptional luxury to new heights.

Shaikh’s appointment is particularly timely as the Jumeirah Group embarks on an ambitious expansion in Saudi Arabia, highlighted by the forthcoming launch of Jumeirah The Red Sea in 2024. The Jumeirah Makkah hotel, strategically located just three minutes walk from Masjid Al Haram, will feature 1,033 rooms and suites, along with 88 apartments, making it one of the largest properties in the Group’s portfolio once fully operational.

His rapid ascent from front office roles to management positions, culminating in his recognition as the youngest General Manager at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, underscores his exceptional leadership and innovative approach.

Shaikh is celebrated for his ability to deliver outstanding profitability, develop new sales channels, and innovate operational processes to enhance the guest experience. His contributions have consistently driven revenue growth and increased Average Daily Rate (ADR). Notably, Shaikh has successfully launched two luxury hotels, one in India and one in Saudi Arabia, both of which quickly earned five-star ratings in the Forbes Travel Guide.
