New Delhi: The Roseate New Delhi brings New Year cheers once again with celebrations galore to welcome the ‘Year of the Rooster’ with Chef Ban’s specially crafted oriental menu of choice available at Chi Ni from January 27, 2017 to February 05, 2017.
Guests can welcome a year of prosperity and success along with their friends and family at Chi Ni – the exclusive restaurant and first one of its kind in the country under a tent-canopy offering indoor dinning, private dining area, a winery, bar seating as well as an Alfresco experience perched atop a manicured hill amongst the magical landscape setting of The Roseate.
On the occasion of this Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chi Ni will roll out an exotic experience for guests with Chef Ban’s hand crafted delicacies. Prosperity Toss or ‘Yee Sang’ composed of various kinds of vegetables and salmon strips is one of the signature dishes for the special Chinese New Year menu at Chi Ni. As the dishes served on Chinese New Year are meant to usher in good luck and prosperity, each ingredient of Yee Sang is selected keeping in mind its relevance to the occasion. The fish symbolises prosperity, the carrots represent good luck, and pomelo indicates wealth. Traditionally, friends and family gather around this dish and toss the ingredients with their chopsticks while shouting their wishes for the New Year.
Guests can also indulge in gastronomical non-vegetarian delights such as Salmon Lohe, a mélange of 25 exotic ingredients. For the vegetarians, Chi Ni offers Vegetable Goose Lohe and for those with a sweet tooth there is Sweet Potato Cake, specially curated with glutinous rice flour and jaggery and Coconut Cake.
So get ready to light up your Chinese New Year celebrations along with your loved ones and enjoy the scrumptious delicacies at Chi Ni, The Roseate New Delhi.
