Bihar Utsav 2023 is to take place at INA Delhi Haat, New Delhi from March 16th to March 31st.
Bihar Utsav 2023, a 15-day event, will showcase the best of Bihar’s startups, handlooms, handicrafts, rural weavers, artisans, and beneficiaries of Chief Minister Udyami Yojana. This event, which is organized every year on the occasion of Bihar Foundation Day, will take place from March 16 to March 31, 2023, at INA Delhi Haat, New Delhi. Bihar Utsav 2023 will have 120 stalls where the best of Bihar’s handicraft, handloom, Bihar Khadi, beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana, and beneficiaries of PMEGP Yojana will showcase their products. Visitors will be able to catch a glimpse of Bihar’s famous Bhagalpuri silk, Madhubani and Mithila paintings, Manjusha paintings, Patna Tikuli art, Siki-made material, Motihari’s attractive shell-made jewellery, terra cotta made items, jute made items such as jute jewellery Tikuli art, and Nalanda, Biharsharif’s Nepura silk and Handloom made bed, seat, sheet.
Food and Cultural Programs
Apart from handloom and handicrafts, visitors will also get to indulge in Bihari cuisine at the food stalls. A cultural program of Bihar folk art and music will be organized on March 21, 22 and 23 from 6 to 8 pm to promote the art and culture of Bihar. This program will feature talented artists from Bihar who will showcase their skills and creativity.
Attractive Products
The centre of attraction at Bihar Utsav 2023 will be the handicraft products made by two Padmashree-awarded artists, Kapil Dev Prasad of Bawan Booti Handicraft Art and Subhadra Devi, a famous artist of Paper Messy and Madhubani painting. Visitors can expect to see exquisite handloom weavers, Bhagalpuri silk, Bihar Khadi clothes and products, jute-made items like jute jewellery, Nipura handloom and handloom beds, seat, and sheets.
